My bug is ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. playup not showing up in the system preferences(or, playup is not a viable plugin)

    after installation, playup does not appear in the toolbar or preferences, this indicates to me that play up is either corrupted or it is not a REAL plugin.

    • Collada (*.dae) instead of Geometry File (*.cgf) will be exported

      Even with the newest PlayUp version (0.9.9.1) I only get Collada files so I can't open them in Cryengine. Also to SketchUp it does not work so I have to export them as *.fbx file. Result: PlayUp doesn't make any sense.

      • ignored transform when exporting

        I load a collada model into sketchup and then apply a "Center Group Bottom" script to center my model on its bottom. Then I use the PlayUp exporter for Unity3D but the transformation is lost when I reimport the model into skecthup. I have also tried with "Center on Origin" script but the same thing happens.

        • LODs are messed up

          When exported to CryEngine the highest detail lod changes position when i get close but the other lods are at the correct position...Help?

          • Textures aren't exported

            Textures aren't exported when I choose to export with a single material (playupmaster.mtl). They are exported fine when i choose that each brush has its own material.

            • Playup doesn't export to Cryengine 3 right

              Well basically when I try to convert Sketchup files I plan on using for an animation in Cryengine 3, I keep getting .dae and .mtl files and not .cfg files. I also know I have everything set up right in Playup tools/Sketchup.

              • Collision doesn't seem to work anymore in CryEngine 3.

                I've followed the guidlines. I've made sure to enable collision for my objects in playup/sketchup. Nothing, I go right through stuff. I've seen other people posting this on the crydev forums too.

                  • exporting level, turns all components into materialless balls

                    layer, doesnt have the right file locations for any of my models or objects
