No textures assigned to materials in Unity3D
When I imported a map from the 3D Warehouse and successfully imported it into Unity3D. Now here is the problem, when the model is created there is no textures on the model! I looked and it did not assign the textures to the materials.
I have the same problem. PlayUp never exports/ imports Textures into Unity3D. I have the models textured in Sketchup, agains individual faces. I create Groups to avoid excessive 'welding'. With various of my own (Not) Google SU Textures.
But when I export All groups/ Components (hence models) or the Whole Level, none of the Textures get ingested into Unity Version 5.3. When I apply the texture in Unity, it applies across the whole model Group) ! So I have lost individual Texture faces, or ability to assign textures to the faces, even in Unity. Colours on faces get exported, but not Textures.
A pity as it was looking to be a great tool, but without reliable Texture export/ import into Unity, it is not so useful.

Did you apply the textures directly to the faces, or did you apply it to the group/component? In order for it to export properly, you need to assign it directly to the faces.
Oh yea, only some textures were exported and it assigned only those textures, but most of the textures were not exported!
I also got this error message when importing:
