exporting level, turns all components into materialless balls
layer, doesnt have the right file locations for any of my models or objects
I have, the same problem. It works if I drag each brush from the rollupbar into the scene, but if I import the layer that playup generated, I only get the default materialless balls indicating that the paths are incorrect.
The location of the brushes and layer is E:\Program Files\CryENGINE\Game\Objects\custom

Hm, very strange. Can you share the path you have exported the models to (in case you are using a path that the parser doesn't like)?
